Job Overview
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in .NET development and application support. They will be responsible for working within the Digital, Technology and Security – Application Management and Support (AMS) team to ensure the smooth operation of various applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the AMS team to identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain good documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and effective communication.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior and intermediate resources to enhance their skills.
- Work closely with business and other DT&S team members to address production support issues and changes to existing applications.
- Follow SaskEnergy's established change management processes.
Required Skills
- Development experience using C# .Net or Java.
- Database scripting experience using SQL Server 2012 or higher or Oracle 10g or higher.
- Visual Studio experience.
- Experience with modern Web APIs (REST & SOAP).
- Experience using IIS.
- Development experience using Angular, TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- A recognized bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional Information
The proposed candidate must have the ability to work on-site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, SK, and be able to work independently as part of a larger team. North American job experience is considered an asset for this proposal.
