Senior .NET Developer with Onsite Support and Maintenance Responsibilities

As a seasoned .NET professional, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications at SaskEnergy's Head Office in Regina, SK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer to join our team as a Senior Resource. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch support and maintenance services for our .NET-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with C# .Net or Java, database scripting using SQL Server 2012 or higher or Oracle 10g or higher, and Visual Studio. Additionally, they must have experience with modern Web APIs (REST & SOAP), IIS, Angular, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.

A recognized bachelor's degree or Technical Diploma in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline is required. The successful candidate must also be able to work on-site at SaskEnergy's Head Office in Regina, SK.

The proposed hourly rate for this role shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs, with PST and GST extra.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for our .NET-based applications
  • Maintaining and upgrading application and database servers
  • Working closely with business stakeholders and other team members to address production support issues and changes/enhancements to existing applications
  • Following SaskEnergy's established change management processes
