Job Title: SDLC Governance and Developer Experience Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled SDLC Governance and Developer Experience Strategist to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) governance practices and developer experience.

Job Summary:

The SDLC Governance and Developer Experience Strategist will be responsible for guiding the development of SDLC metrics for tracking governance and developer insights to enhance developer experience. This includes guiding the implementation of dashboards and reports to clearly radiate these metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SDLC metrics for tracking governance and developer insights
  • Guide the implementation of dashboards and reports to clearly radiate these metrics
  • Work with leaders to develop an ongoing program of work to improve SDLC governance and developer experience
  • Promote SDLC and developer experience within the firm
  • Work closely with risk colleagues to identify upcoming regulatory changes that may impact SDLC and develop appropriate action plans
  • Point person for engagement with third parties such as Internal Audit and Regulators on SDLC Compliance
  • Provide support in the preparation of periodic internal and external reports for SDLC governance and developer experience
  • Draw on knowledge and experience to guide and support leaders at all levels in making changes that will result in better SDLC Governance outcomes
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in service delivery management and software development lifecycle
  • Technical understanding of Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC), the different implementation methods, and the tools used to improve efficiency and controls across SDLC
  • Understanding of the principles, practices, and tooling introduced by DevOps, SRE, Agile, and other related frameworks and methods
  • Proven ability to monitor complex programs in an enterprise function where the role did not have direct command/control of all resources
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong risk analysis
  • Ability to analyze a function, process, or transaction, and identify the key risks and controls within it
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience of building and deploying software in a controlled environment
  • Experience with data visualization, writing reports, and data analytics
  • Familiarity with metrics for tracking developer experience and the frameworks for implementing them
  • Strong critical thinking skills, intuitively curious and able to diagnose data issues
  • Can showcase examples of implementing new ways of working in different cultures and environments
  • Technology Risk Management Experience, ideally with exposure to the development or adoption of technology policies and standards
