Product Strategist

As a Product Strategist/Senior Business Solutions Analyst at FX Innovation, a Bell Canada company, you will play a key role in driving business growth and innovation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our investment and analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Product Ownership: Act as a Product Owner for multiple investment and analytical solutions, including research management and deal flow systems, portfolio construction and simulation solutions, commission management systems, investment pools, and market dashboards.
- Backlog Management: Own and manage the backlog, defining backlog items, prioritizing, and assessing business value with clients.
- Business Case Development: Contribute to business cases, solution planning, and delivery roadmaps.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise between technological and business partners, translating financial requirements into user stories and technical specifications.
- Problem Analysis: Take ownership of complex problem-analysis assignments, recommend efficient solutions, and enable their implementation.
- Solution Design: Contribute to solution design, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
- SDLC Facilitation: Facilitate and/or contribute to the SDLC for new enhancements, from planning to implementation.
- Support and Maintenance: Play a key role in support maintenance, incident resolution, problem-solving, and continuous improvements.
- Experience: 7+ years of business and systems analysis experience in financial investment applications and solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial investment industry, knowledge of Capital Markets investments, and/or financial certifications (CFA, FRM, etc.) are strong assets.
- Product Ownership: Experience as a Product Owner in the analytics/investment field within an agile environment is a crucial asset.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with SQL tools for data analysis, mining, and experience with Analytics suites solutions are crucial assets.
- Language Skills: Excellent French and English language verbal and written communication skills.
- Alignment: Experience in seeking alignment between business and IT, operating across business and technology teams to drive common approaches.
- Excellence: A drive to pursue excellence and challenge the status quo to seek out alternative perspectives.
- Autonomy: Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy.
