About the Role

Colliers Project Leaders is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Director Infrastructure – Eastern Canada. This role requires a strong industry leader to support and implement a robust strategy for growth in the Eastern Canada region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive business development and expansion.

The Director will operate within a matrix organizational structure, collaborating with various teams to develop and execute the sector business development strategy. This includes achieving annual sales targets of at least 20% growth and providing sector leadership by bolstering the company brand identity, authoring thought leadership, and speaking at industry conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the infrastructure sector and have a proven track record of success in sales and business development. Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to project and maintain a positive outlook and demonstrate an energetic disposition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a robust growth strategy for the Eastern Canada region.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive business development and expansion.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute the sector business development strategy.
  • Provide sector leadership and thought leadership through authoring articles, speaking at conferences, and bolstering the company brand identity.
  • Maintain a strong network of relationships with key organizations and clients throughout the infrastructure sector.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a practitioner or advisor in the infrastructure sector.
  • Practiced in consultative sales and business development.
  • Professional industry credentials relevant and specific to the sector are a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to project and maintain a positive outlook and demonstrate an energetic disposition.
