We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Project Consultant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our Perioperative Network, you will play a critical role in facilitating strategic initiatives and improvement projects that advance the achievement of Nova Scotia Government and Perioperative Network mandates.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Perioperative/Surgical services and will serve as a liaison between the Perioperative Network, project teams, and Zone Perioperative leaders. You will facilitate staff involvement and provide ongoing support, mentorship, and coaching during implementation.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in healthcare, leadership experience, and project management skills. If you have a passion for improving healthcare delivery and a proven track record of success in leading strategic initiatives, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve healthcare delivery
- Collaborate with project teams and Zone Perioperative leaders to achieve project goals
- Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and coaching to staff
- Ensure decisions are fiscally responsible and communicate progress to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in healthcare discipline
- Master's degree an asset, particularly in health administration, leadership, or business administration
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or experience an asset
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years' leadership experience within Perioperative Services
- Experience in working with patient care leaders and leading strategic initiatives
