Job Title: Senior Care Director

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Director to lead our team at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre Brantford.

About the Role:

The Senior Care Director will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our residents, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care services.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality improvement goals and outcomes.
  • Manage resources effectively, prioritizing tasks and allocating staff to meet the needs of residents and the organization.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse and a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • 5+ years nursing supervisory experience (LTC experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team building skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Point Click Care, online learning platforms, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to prepare policies and procedures and communicate regarding best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and performance manage staff providing various levels of nursing and resident centred care.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

This is a full-time position, and the salary range is competitive based on industry standards. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering exceptional care services and a commitment to leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals.
