Culinary Apprentice Job Description at Tandoori Flame
At Tandoori Flame, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Culinary Apprentice to join our team. As an Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced chefs in the kitchen, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Learn about different cuisines and cooking techniques.
- Develop skills in kitchen operations, including food safety and hygiene.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Participate in menu planning and development.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Work Setting:
- Restaurant.
