We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Culinary Apprentice to join our team at Tandoori Flame. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs in the preparation and presentation of our dishes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes for service
- Help to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Support the chefs in the coordination of special events and menu planning
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment as required
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Organize buffets and banquets
- Manage kitchen operations under the supervision of our chefs
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 40 hours per week
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and physical stamina are essential. You will be working in a restaurant setting, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
