Job Title: Hotel Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Sahara Courtyard Inn (1995) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, including daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Negotiate with suppliers for materials and services
  • Conduct training sessions and ensure staff are equipped with necessary skills
  • Perform front desk duties and provide excellent customer service
  • Implement marketing activities to increase hotel occupancy
  • Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure hotel facilities are well-maintained
  • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Establish work schedules and ensure staff are aware of their responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain inventory of hotel supplies and equipment
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel management
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 25 pounds
