About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Head for our grocery retail department at Ontario Ltd. As a senior member of our management team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of staff members to ensure they are meeting their responsibilities and performing at their best.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to meet the needs of the store and its customers.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Worker Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers to ensure seamless operations.
  • Office Support: Supervise office and volunteer staff to ensure they are supporting the needs of the store.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent position with regular working hours.
  • Work Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
