Job Title: Team Lead, Small Business

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to lead our Small Business sales team in Canada. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and coaching and developing your team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share.
  • Coach and develop team members to improve their sales skills and knowledge.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership and business development.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of Scotiabank's Small Business products and services, including credit processes and policies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
