Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our Domestic Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax compliance advice to clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of tax returns, and staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance advice to clients, including preparing and reviewing personal, corporate, and trust income tax returns.
  • Stay current with tax laws and regulations, identifying opportunities for clients to capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies for clients, minimizing risk and maximizing benefits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality service to clients, ensuring exceptional results and client satisfaction.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in tax.
  • Completed or nearing completion of your CPA designation.
  • Enrolled or in the process of enrolling in an in-depth tax course.
  • A good understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax compliance and planning.
What We Offer

At BDO Canada, we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
