We are a vibrant and bustling pub located in the heart of the city, serving up delicious food and drinks to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, following established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and taste food to ensure that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
