Maintenance Painter Job Description

PAXA ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team. As a Maintenance Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix and apply paint to desired color and texture.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  • Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various locations.
  • Attention to detail and physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment.
Work Environment:

The Maintenance Painter will work in various locations, including outdoors, and will be required to work at heights using scaffolding and swing stages.
