About the Role

PAXA ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team. As a Maintenance Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior surfaces of our facilities are properly prepared and finished.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including drywall taping and patching.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to desired color and texture, apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Wood Finishing: Graining and other wood finishing specializations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by wearing steel-toed safety boots and adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Communication: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors and in various locations.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
