About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team at Metatribe Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of work in maintaining and decorating various surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Mix paint to the desired colour and texture, guaranteeing a perfect match.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, creating a seamless look.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality.
  • Estimate costs and materials, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Airless spray equipment experience.
  • Brush painting skills.
  • Conventional spray painting expertise.
  • Roller painting proficiency.
  • Drywall taping/patching skills.
  • Graining and staining experience.
Work Environment

As a Maintenance Painter, you will work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and be exposed to odours. You will be required to work at various locations, ensuring flexibility and adaptability.
