About the Role

PAXA ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Painter to join our team. As a Maintenance Painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior surfaces of our facilities are properly painted and maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, including drywall taping and patching.
  • Painting and Decorating: Mix paint to desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Equipment and Tool Maintenance: Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and properly maintained.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating.
  • Work Environment: Work outdoors and in various locations.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, requires attention to detail, and involves bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
