The Vice President, People and Culture is a strategic leader responsible for driving the YMCA of Northern Alberta's collective positioning as an employer of choice and a place to volunteer. This role provides leadership to the National Office, where the Vice President serves as the People and Culture lead.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a data-driven national strategy to improve the engagement and well-being of YMCA staff and volunteers.
- Implement the YMCA Leadership Development Framework to inspire, grow, and retain YMCA leaders.
- Develop and promote policies and practices that support an equitable workplace culture.
- Lead the People and Culture function at the National Office, except those functions and duties related to employee payroll and benefits.
- Develop and lead strategies to promote YMCA Canada culture and the engagement, recognition, appreciation, and well-being of its employees.
- University degree and relevant education/training in a related field, CHRL designation is considered an asset but not required.
- Minimum 10 years progressive related experience, including working in a leadership role.
- Possess superior leadership acumen and bring a strategic focus to the implementation of best practices.
