Senior Vice President, Asset Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President, Asset Management to lead our Utility Services national practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction for the Utilities team, building and maintaining in-depth industry knowledge and relationships, and overseeing service delivery for a portfolio of projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading Comtech's Utility Services national practice, including key account leadership.
  2. Serving as senior-most client relationship manager, engaging with client executives, project sponsors, and delivery partners.
  3. Providing strategic direction for the Utilities team in areas such as business development, client and stakeholder relations, strategy and advisory services, project and program management, and construction management.
  4. Building and maintaining in-depth industry knowledge and relationships.
  5. Negotiating contracts, agreements, and partnerships to ensure favourable terms and conditions for the Company.
  6. Overseeing service delivery for a portfolio of projects across the country.
  7. Managing P&L responsibility for the practice, including forecasts and monitoring sales, revenues, and budgets.
Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of senior-level leadership experience with an electric or gas utility.
  2. 10+ years of progressive project leadership experience within the gas or electric utility sector is preferred.
  3. Experience in establishing and managing relationships with senior utilities stakeholders.
  4. Extensive knowledge of Gas Transmission and Distribution and Electric Substation, Transmission, and Distribution Project Management and Construction Management concepts.
  5. Licenses OR Certifications: Holding a P.Eng. qualification and PMP certification are assets.
