Role and Responsibilities

Financial Analyst – Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform business decisions.

The role we offer you:

  • Participate in the financial forecasting and financial performance analysis processes for CAE Consolidated
  • Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plan
  • Assist in the establishment of the annual budget
  • Maintain and develop financial models and identify, document, and communicate risks and business opportunities related to forecasts
  • Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior management

With the rise of technologies in accounting, CAE is emphasizing the importance of efficient business processes. The role will have a focus on process improvement and automation.

  • Propose and implement improvements to the various planning and financial forecasting processes

The ideal candidate has:

  • A university degree in accounting or finance
  • A professional title completed or in the process of being completed (CPA, CFA)
  • A minimum of five years of related experience
  • IT skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • A personality focused on detail, a good sense of analysis
  • An ability to work with a minimum of supervision and to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management staff
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
