About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a member of our Primary Health Care team, you will provide expert knowledge and skills in diabetes management and chronic disease prevention. Your role will involve health promotion, illness prevention, screening, treatment, and monitoring of individuals with diabetes and other chronic health conditions.

You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to increase community capacity as an educator, researcher, and clinical practitioner. Your services will be provided within a holistic, client-centered care framework.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, a dietetic internship, and current membership in the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association. You will also have experience in diabetes-related care and be proficient in MS Office, email, and internet. Excellent communication and research skills are essential for this role.
