About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Ambulatory Care. This role will provide professional nursing care to individuals, including the intravenous or injection administration of biologics or other specialty pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient health status using a pre-screening process to determine eligibility for medical therapies.
  • Insert peripheral intravenous lines or establish access via central lines using sterile technique and best practices.
  • Handle and reconstitute biologic or oncology medication according to manufacturer and Health Canada guidelines.
  • Identify patient care requirements and document services in accordance with INVIVA policies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Critical Care Unit (CCU) / Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and/or Oncology experience is considered an asset.
  • ACLS certification is an asset.
  • Ability to work at various clinics depending on region.
  • Critical care specific designation is an asset.
  • Clinical, nursing and listening skills.
  • Ability to work in a computerized environment (i.e. computer, MS Office, email, and electronic patient records).
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, McKesson offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, as well as retirement savings options.
