Job Description

This is a dynamic 1-year contract role in the insurance industry with strong potential for conversion to a full-time position based on performance.

Role Overview

You'll be part of a global team managing a significant portfolio of derivative products, supporting life insurance general accounts and asset management operations across multiple international offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the onboarding of new derivatives accounts and brokers.
  • Ensure operational readiness for derivatives trading, coordinating with middle office, operations, and collateral management teams.
  • Collaborate with traders to ensure the availability of a full range of derivative brokers for best execution.
  • Work closely with Legal Services to ensure proper legal agreements for trading.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of accounts, legal agreements, authorized products, and active brokers.
  • Provide ongoing support for external broker relationship management.
  • Assist the Derivatives Solutions team in setting up technology for new derivative products.
  • Contribute to process improvement, especially in coordination with the Asia team.
  • Lead side projects to validate broker setups and clean up records.
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • A university degree in business or technology or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in derivative products.
  • Familiarity with derivative instruments such as repos, TBAs, futures, FX, options, and swaps.
  • Familiarity with derivatives trading and collateral agreements, including ISDA/CSAs, GMRAs, and MSFTAs.
  • Knowledge of various fund structures: mutual funds, pooled funds, private funds, UCITS, institutional accounts, and life insurance general accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate multiple factors and recommend solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain good working relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and manage competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a global team and supporting remote collaboration via platforms like Microsoft Teams.
Benefits
  • An estimated salary of $28.20 to $37.61 per hour, based on experience.
  • A 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • A full-time position with 37.50 hours per week.
  • A weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
  • Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.
