Medical Records Coordinator

Destinationone Consulting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Clerk to join our team. As a Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and providing excellent customer service to healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and maintain patient medical records in a secure and confidential manner.
- Retrieve and process requests for patient information from healthcare providers and authorized personnel.
- Input and update patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ensure the accuracy of data entry to maintain high-quality patient records.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Participate in audits to ensure records meet legal and regulatory standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in medical records or a healthcare administrative role is a plus.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
