Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team at the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide administrative assistance to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your duties will include performing routine word processing, responding to registrant enquiries, creating and maintaining files, and performing various office functions. Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine word processing tasks, including producing reports, correspondence, and standard office forms
- Respond to registrant enquiries, providing information and assistance as needed
- Create and maintain files, records, and spreadsheets, following BCCNM policies and procedures
- Perform various office functions, including sorting, filing, and retrieving files and documents

Requirements

- High school diploma and at least two years of related experience
- Ability to type at least 50 wpm
- Intermediate skills in standard office software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cooperatively with others
- Ability to exercise independence of judgment and action, and to adapt to changing priorities
