About the Role

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled Business Applications Implementation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Digital Transformation team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their business objectives through the implementation of finance, supply chain, Human Resources, and Customer relationship management systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to external clients and BDO project teams, providing expert guidance on the implementation of business applications.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to gather their unique requirements and develop innovative solutions to address their business challenges.
  • Configure and implement 'off-the-shelf' business applications from leading technology vendors, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Provide training and support to client staff, empowering them to effectively utilize the implemented systems.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of BDO by participating in internal practice initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in business, engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in relationship management and consulting, with a strong understanding of business applications and technology.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior-level executives and client staff.
  • Self-motivated and articulate, with the ability to engage audiences and facilitate client workshops and sessions.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing business requirements.
