About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team at South Granville Business College. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of small businesses in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to promote industrial and commercial investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Program Administration: Administer programs to support the growth and development of small businesses, including venture capital sourcing and business planning.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise a team of professional and support staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of programs and services.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for business growth and development, including market research and feasibility studies.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the college's programs and services, including online marketing and social media promotion.
  • Client Services: Provide exceptional client services, including consultation and advice on business development and growth strategies.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare and submit reports on program outcomes and evaluation, including recommendations for future program development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or entrepreneurship.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in business development, program administration, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business owners, community leaders, and college staff.
  • Language: English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
