About the Role

The AP Specialist is a key member of the finance team at OPW, supporting various processes related to payments across the organization. This role involves reconciling and verifying invoices, maintaining relationships with vendors, and interacting with departmental leads. In addition, Operation Support involves assisting the operations team with tasks related to our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct all A/P processing and reporting for both US and CAD divisions within a multi-divisional manufacturing business.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies and input daily invoices.
  • Assist the AP function with month-end tasks and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support Operation functions by creating and updating product label files, ERP master files, and ordering as required.
  • Program sites, provide technical support, and train customers on the True Vue monitoring system.
  • Produce customer binders with mandatory documents (SDSs, Tech Data, Titration).

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in an AP role, preferably in a multi-divisional manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education preferred, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in computerized accounting systems, financial software packages, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, basic Adobe Creative Suite skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple duties.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for efficiency and a willingness to challenge the status quo.

Working Arrangement

This position is based onsite at OPW. The estimated salary range for this role is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
