About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced SEO professional with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions that enhance organic visibility and performance for our diverse portfolio of clients. As a Director, SEO, you'll be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that align with client KPIs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and innovate: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy that drives measurable growth in organic traffic and conversion rates across a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Team management: Lead and manage a diverse team of SEO subject matter experts to help team and individual growth, while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for all team members.
  • Client partnership: Serve as the senior SEO expert in client engagements, providing strategic counsel, presenting performance insights, and influencing decision-making at the executive level.
  • Technical SEO mastery: Oversee and ensure the implementation of advanced technical SEO audits and solutions, including but not limited to, URL structure optimization, schema markup, canonicalization, and site architecture improvements.
  • Content strategy: Partner with content teams to develop and optimize content strategies that enhance organic visibility and align with brand messaging and audience needs.
  • Analytics & reporting: Establish robust analytics frameworks to monitor, report, and act on key SEO metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability in client results.
  • Thought leadership: Stay at the forefront of SEO and digital marketing trends, sharing insights and best practices with internal teams and external stakeholders through presentations, workshops, and industry events.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including paid search, social media, and web development, to create integrated marketing strategies that maximize overall performance.
  • Process optimization: Continuously refine SEO processes and workflows, leveraging new tools and technologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record of driving organic growth, preferably within an agency environment.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with managing and developing a team of subject-matter experts.
  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices, tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Bright Edge, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Adobe Analytics, Screaming Frog, etc.), and the latest advancements in search engine algorithms.
  • Ability to think big-picture while also managing the details, with a strong ability to translate business goals into actionable SEO strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior client stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that enhance SEO performance.
  • Passion for innovation: A proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
