Job Title: Guest Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Representative to join our team at Microtel Inn & Suites Lloydminster. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Information and Assistance: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as general information about points of interest in the area.
  • Departure and Payment: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, as well as contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort environment.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in word processing software and internet usage.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, and team player attitude.
