Job Description:
The Retail Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling Permacon products to retailers in Northern Ontario, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell Permacon products to retailers in Northern Ontario.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Department Managers and Owners/Operators.
- Maintain accurate records of sales performance, customer interactions, and product inventory levels.
- Participate in regional training classes and events to stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Collaborate with the customer service and replenishment teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience or merchandising, preferably in the building products industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Functional French required (part of the covered region is in Quebec).
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle to travel to customer locations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
