About the Role

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Coordinator to support our team in Kelowna, BC. This part-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support to our project managers, including project initiation, tracking, and close-out. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to project managers, including project initiation, tracking, and close-out.
  • Assist with project management software, including Oracle-based systems.
  • Collect and display relevant data to support project decisions and recommendations.
  • Confirm adherence to quality and project management policies.
  • Facilitate file management and organization for projects.
  • Support project close-out activities, in collaboration with the Finance Team.
  • Maintain good working relationships with the Administrative Team.
Requirements
  • Industry-related experience or an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with MS Office, with a focus on Excel. Experience with MS Project is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner.

Additional Information

A requirement of working for Tetra Tech is that you are at least 18 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship. To meet the physical demands required of some positions, candidates must be in good physical condition and willing to work in all weather conditions. Clearance on pre-placement medical and drug and alcohol testing may be required but will be explained during the recruitment process if they are necessary.
