Job Summary

As a Materials Handler at Peter Lucas Project Management Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supply chain processes. This is a hands-on position that requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and organize materials, kits, and packages for planned work
  • Provide input to the schedule and expedite material as needed to ensure timely delivery
  • Identify critical issues, synergies, and conflicts that may affect the long-term schedule and source materials for urgent work
  • Execute the business process for procuring resources for scheduled work orders
  • Comply with quality specifications and authority levels outlined in the system documentation
  • Review material tracking and work order status reports daily to monitor upcoming tasks
  • Escalate any concerns regarding the delivery or availability of materials or tools for the scheduled start date
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post-secondary diploma in Purchasing is considered an asset
  • Minimum of one to three (1-3) years experience with Supply Chain Management or in parts
  • Experienced in SAP and IBM Maximo ERP systems work order and Supply Chain processes are considered an asset
  • High level of proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suite of products
  • Requisite to possess a valid Class 5 BC driver's license
  • Required to meet pre-employment testing requirements
  • Previous experience operating a Zoom Boom and Forklift
