Cosmetics Department Head

### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cosmetics Department Manager to join our team at London Drugs Limited. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for leading the cosmetics department to achieve sales, inventory control, and payroll goals.
### Key Responsibilities
* Direct and manage the cosmetics department employees to maintain high standards of merchandising, customer service, and operational excellence
* Hire, schedule, and manage payroll for department employees
* Provide ongoing training and development to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
* Lead the department to achieve company goals and objectives, including financial benchmarks
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
### Requirements
* Minimum three years of management experience in retail, preferably in the cosmetics industry
* Extensive knowledge of cosmetic products and strong merchandising and display skills
* Professional sales experience and ability to build business
* Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, employees, and management
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide quality service in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner

### Working Conditions
* Employees will be scheduled 40 hours per week and must be available to work a flexible schedule, Monday through Sunday, for day and evening shifts
* From time to time, this position requires the successful candidate to transfer from one store to another, or to work in other locations depending on organizational need and career development opportunities
* Mode of transportation will be the responsibility of the employee
