About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Specialist to join our team at SES Packaging Systems Inc.

This is a permanent full-time position with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

Job Description
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on operational performance and progress.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for production staff to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Train or arrange for training to upskill existing employees and enhance overall productivity.
  • Oversee the safety of operations and implement measures to minimize risks.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Procure and manage materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Configure and set up machinery and equipment to meet production demands.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff, providing guidance and feedback as required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and product quality, implementing changes as necessary.
Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise levels.

Requirements
  • No formal education is required; however, relevant experience is essential.
  • Ability to train new employees.
  • Basic security clearance is mandatory.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve repetitive movements, handling heavy loads, and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Able to sit for short periods and combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
