We are seeking an experienced Industrial Scale Operations Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of our SCM demonstration plant, which will play a pivotal role in scaling our technology to commercial levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning & Execution:

a. Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets for the SCM demonstration plant.

b. Manage project milestones from engineering design to commissioning.

  • Stakeholder Coordination:

a. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and R&D.

b. Liaise with external stakeholders such as technology partners, material suppliers, and investors.

  • Resource Management:

a. Oversee procurement of equipment, raw materials, and services.

b. Manage human resources and coordinate with contractors, plant operators, and technical teams.

  • Risk Management:

a. Identify potential risks in project execution and implement mitigation strategies.

b. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.

  • Monitoring & Reporting:

a. Track progress, control project costs, and manage change orders.

b. Report on project performance, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A master's degree is an asset.

  • Experience:

a. Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial scale operations management, with at least 3 years in the cement or construction materials industry.

b. Demonstrated experience managing projects involving cement plants, SCM facilities, or other industrial-scale manufacturing operations.

  • Technical Skills:

a. Familiarity with supplementary cementitious materials or similar technologies is a strong asset.

b. Proficient in project management software and tools.

c. Knowledge of regulatory and environmental standards in the cement industry.

  • Soft Skills:

a. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

b. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

c. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
