Job Overview

Adecco Canada is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Management Professional to support our client in Calgary, AB.

About the Role

This temporary, full-time opportunity will involve providing expertise in project cost and schedule control, ensuring project efficiency and adherence to standards. You will work closely with various teams, handle financial reporting, and support the project control function with accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of overall project control reports, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate project cost analysis activities, including cost coding and SAP use, to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
  • Liaise with project management to provide guidance on project controls, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and prepare estimates for change orders, trends, and extra work orders, facilitating smooth project execution.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining engineering, procurement, and construction schedules, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Coordinate project closeout reports, ensuring all cost, progress, and schedule data is properly recorded and reflected in the final report.
  • Facilitate purchasing and contracting processes in collaboration with SCM, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong knowledge of cost control systems, SAP, and project control reporting, with 5+ years of experience in project control roles.
  • Familiarity with construction and related site cost reporting, enabling effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare budgets, financial reporting, and forecast analysis, supporting data-driven decision-making.
