As a Speech Language Pathologist with the Peel District School Board, you will play a critical role in supporting the communication needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). You will have experience providing speech language services to children, youth, and families, and be able to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educators. You will be able to translate your clinical knowledge of communication disorders into the educational setting, and work collaboratively to develop and implement effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals to support the communication needs of students
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support students with communication disorders
  • Work collaboratively with educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide professional development and training to educators on communication strategies and techniques
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
  • Experience providing speech language services to children, youth, and families
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and educators
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
