Supervisor - Retail Store

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at ABK Best Meats Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments by cheque, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Analyze sales data, identify trends, and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a professional and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing losses.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of sales associates, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Cash Management: Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accurate and secure handling of cash and credit transactions.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with sales associates, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor who possesses excellent leadership and communication skills. You will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing teams, and providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines
- Transportation: Public transportation is available
- Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability
