About the Program
DARE is a community-driven initiative aimed at providing religious education and support to individuals with diverse abilities. The program focuses on inclusivity, catering to the needs of participants aged 18+.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Vision: Collaborate with the Inclusive Special Needs Program Manager to establish a vision and goals for DARE, ensuring alignment with Baitul iLM's broader objectives.
- Team Management: Oversee the professional development and well-being of teaching staff, facilitating regular team meetings to discuss program updates, challenges, and successes.
- Curriculum Development and Implementation: Work closely with teachers to develop and adapt the curriculum, incorporating inclusive teaching methods and best practices.
- Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance to teaching staff on inclusive teaching strategies and classroom management, addressing challenges and concerns in a timely manner.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Collaborate with the Admin Team to establish and maintain positive relationships with parents and the broader community, organizing regular communication channels.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement: Monitor the program's effectiveness through ongoing assessment and evaluation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance program outcomes.
About You
Requirements:
- Leadership Qualities: Relevant academic qualifications in education leadership and previous experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.
- Teaching Mentors: Teaching qualification and experience in inclusive education, as well as knowledge of best practices in inclusive teaching.
