Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. This includes coordinating special events, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate special events and functions
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
Working Conditions:

The Executive Chef will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
