Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Alberta Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team, managing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and food presentation standards
  • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and storage
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge
  • Monitor and control kitchen expenses and inventory
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and managing food preparation and presentation
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification an asset
