Job Title: Excavation Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Excavation Superintendent to join our team at GBA Demolition & Excavating Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing excavation and demolition projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule excavation and demolition activities
  • Supervise a team of workers and ensure they have the necessary training and equipment to perform their tasks safely and efficiently
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects are completed within budget
  • Develop and implement methods to improve productivity and product quality
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Collaborate with other project supervisors and managers to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in excavation and demolition
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Basic security clearance
