Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Center Supervisor to join our team at KPMG in Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our conference center, ensuring seamless event execution, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of 4 employees dedicated to coordinating events at the conference center.
  • Lead daily service meetings with the team to ensure all tasks are assigned and goals are met.
  • Hire temporary staff (agency) for certain events.
  • Manage the American Express card, including closing accounts and tracking expenses.
  • Supervise billing and cost tracking related to alcohol during events.
  • Coordinate operations during events to ensure quality service.
  • Perform quality checks to maintain high standards.
  • Supervise staff and coordinate activities during events to ensure smooth running of meetings and events.
  • Manage customer requests and budgets associated with those requests.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in managing a conference center.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards.
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
