About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smoky Lake Esso/Great Bear Cafe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Store: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and tidy store environment, and ensure that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
