About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smoky Lake Esso/Great Bear Cafe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments.
  • Process Sales: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Merchandise Handling: Wrap or place merchandise in bags, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and meet the physical demands of the role.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, excellent oral communication, and maturity in all interactions with customers and colleagues.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
