About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Smoky Lake Esso/Great Bear Cafe. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing, and that merchandise is properly displayed and restocked.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, maturity, and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
