About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team at GoFer Liquor. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Maintain Store Appearance: Restock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with Self-Checkout: Help customers with self-checkout, verify age for restricted products, and provide assistance as needed.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment with a high volume of customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including cash handling and customer service.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to maintain store appearance and assist customers.
