Job Overview: As the Bakery Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the bakery department, manage staff, and ensure the highest quality of our products. You will work collaboratively with your team to create an inviting environment for customers while maintaining Loblaws' standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train bakery staff to foster a positive team environment
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor department performance and assist with budgeting and financial targets to drive business growth

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in bakery management or a related food service role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards to ensure high-quality products
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
